Made by Tracy Evans
Tracy had this to say: The first thing that came to mind was bird song when I thought of the letter 'S' and of course stamping, being a rubber stamper it was the obvious choice. Hero Arts Timely Bird is my focal image showcased in a dimensional arch cut using the Arch Frame die and the coordinating Sized Arch die to create the frames. My colouring medium this week was PaperArtsy Mermaid Fresco Finish Paint. I also added some stenciled leaves using Wendy Vecchi's Lovely Leaves stencil along with White Embossing Paste.
Made by Suzanne Czosek
Suzanne had this to say: I love using my Distress Stains and wanted to create a big splash with the challenge this week. I inked up with Ranger Distress Stains - Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers and Mustard Seed on a craft mat and added the water to make it a lovely mix of colors. I smeared my tag into the inks. I continued on to add layers of images and embellishments including Hero Arts - Silhouette Fern, Hero Arts - Papillion, Stampers Anonymous - Attic Treasures, and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Timepieces.
Made by Sandra Mouwen
Sandra had this to say: I'm the kind of person that writes everything I have to do onto little notes. I wanted to make something that would be very useful in getting myself a bit more organized. So the S... stands for Schedule and I came up with this book to keep my schedule in. The base is from Chipboard and cut it to the right size I wanted. I covered it with Neenah Dessert Storm cardstock and started stamping with lots of different stamps, such as Bo Bunny Distressed Textures, Tim Holtz City Central and Prima Marketing Romance Novel 2, to make a background. To decorate the front cover I used the Mini Rosette die, with I stamped with the Mixed Media stamp. I stacked a lot of things to make it more interesting, like the Washer Border, the Stacked Artful Words and a Jumbo Number.
