Totally My Type!!

 

Hi Bloggers! Happy Friday to you! What better way to start your weekend off right, then a festive TRIO of fun cards with special guest artist (and friend of Simon), Teri Anderson?! I think it's fun to hear about what or how the artist was inspired so see the few sentences below from Teri to tell you a bit about her process:

I challenged myself to use one stamp in three different ways, just to see what all I could do with it.
The set I picked is Technique Tuesday's Totally My Type stamp set. It features a really cool typewriter and some words to go with it that are very typewriter inspired.

I really love this stamp set because typewriters are near and dear to my heart. I've always had a lot of love for them, plus I have a background in journalism. I have spent a really good chunk of my life writing. Of course, it is on computers nowadays but close enough. ;)

 123 Hello card
For this card, I was going for a more eclectic look so I stamped the typewriter, cut it out and then decorated it by stamping on the keys and adding a few embellishments to the typewriter as well. I also cut a clear epoxy circle sticker in half and placed toward the top of the typewriter.

For this one, I wanted to make an office scene of sorts so I pulled in one of the lights from the Bright Idea set. I only wish my office was this cute.

I was shooting for a more graphic card so I only used half the typewriter on this one.
