From the designer:
When I am feeling in a rut, or the inspiration just isn't happening, there is one thing I can always turn to for a quick, easy and great looking card — the Simon Says Stamp Tri Square die. You can cut it twice on a card front, or just once. You can use it horizontally or vertically. You can create peek a boo windows that almost anything looks great under. I find that once I get the creativity flowing, I can branch off and try different things, but sometimes I need that boost and this die is perfect!
For today's card, I ran the Tri Square die through my Big Shot vertically, on the left hand side of the Kraft card front. I took some Neenah White Cardstock to use underneath the die cut portion and stamped various sweet treats from the Fantastic Birthday set from Hero Arts. Then, I stamped them again on different papers from Lawn Fawn's Bright Side 6x6 paper pack. I paper pieced the images and layered my diecut panel on top. I added the sentiment "Have a sweet birthday," also from the Fantastic Birthday set. I finished it off using some Stardust Stickles, Glossy Accents and Enamel Dots. I filmed a quick video of the process, and I share my favorite way to make paper pieced images pop! Check it out below the card!
